In my own personal efforts to find ways to take action on Climate Change, I founded a small group of individuals from all walks of life right across the globe and together we sought out ways to mitigate the worst effects of climate change.

We learned of the invention of "windpods" by a SA resident by the name of Graeme Attey. Windpods have since been developed with a state grant of $53,000 and put into use in a demonstration model. The current distribution/marketing hub is in this Federal electorate (Kingsford Smith), in NSW. It goes without saying that this brilliant and simple invention should be manufactured locally and distributed globally creating a manufacturing base that would soon see our state a leader in the field of renewable energy solutions. I am not affiliated to this company in any way, but see windpods as a brilliant way forwards into a sustainable energy future. I hope you will investigate further and reply as soon as possible with your findings.

Also, please note that i am strongly opposed to the direction our state is taking with Coal Seam Gas (CSG). This energy feedstock source is finite unlike the sun and the wind. The exaction methods used appear to be very dangerous - both to water supplies and to seismic stability. I have also learned that insurance against accidental leakage and accidents is very hard to come by and (if it does exist) will be very expensive.

1. Who will guarantee our safety?
2. (a) Why should taxpayers bear the brunt of insurance costs against accidents?
(b) is it possible to get such insurance?
(c) if so where from?
(d) how much will it cost?
3. Why do state royalties not kick in for 5 years?
4. Why allow CSG to proceed when there is no gain and only pain?
5. Why allow such dangerous developments when there are clean SAFE alternatives ready and waiting for the correct political will to be developed? Please ANSWER these 5 simple questions, particularly question 2 parts a - d.

Please Mr O'Farrell, lead NSW into a clean energy future. There are safe clean alternatives to dirty, dangerous energy supplies. Let's get them happening.
