Abbotts “Carbon Tax” vs
Gillard, Greens, Independents (x Katter) “Price on Pollution”

The Price on Pollution is basically the same as a ‘Robin Hood Tax’.

Where the government will take from the Mega rich and give back to fund Australia through a smooth transition into a clean energy future.

At last the political will is here, with the help of the Greens and the Independents, (except Bob Katter).

Cutting the existing subsidies (paid for by our taxes - ie. from the little man - us) pretty much covers the worst polluters costs for carbon pollution costs.

Why should they pollute for free?

Abbott’s alternative is to take from the little man (us) and to continue to give our taxes back to big polluters, in the hope they will be nice and cut emissions, ‘cause they are good blokes!

Abbott is proposing a Carbon Tax... the ALP, Greens & Independents have legislation ready to put a Price on Pollution, a BIG Difference!

What makes me laugh is that Abbott continues to spread Fear on what HE proposes!
