Hi Benny
I agree that taking part in peaceful civil disobedience is totally up to the individual.
Likewise, it is also up to each individual to take this pledge, or not.

Comment on civil disobedience pledge

The wording for pledge is a bit authoritarian to me.
Civil disobedience is a personal choice.
As a long time activist and being arrested many times, this sort of action is one that gut feeling determines. Each action needs scrutiny and people to choose their roles. What is important is bringing attention to the issues if its civil disobedience or otherwise.
