Global Climate Change Action

In reply to an ABC article titled "Union threatens carbon tax
revolt" http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2011/04/15/3192080.htm in my view, a "Pollution Price" is a long time overdue.

Taxing the big end of business, on the pollution they create (at last) is taxes that are not in the little peoples pockets now.

By introducing a price on polluting and then investing those funds
into the manufacturing sector we will see energy producing equipment(s) manufacturing such as solar panels and windpods (see http://www.windpods.com/ ) made HERE rather than overseas as they currently are.

We have the resources, we have a waiting unemployed workforce, with the implementation of a carbon tax we will have the money needed and necessary to CREATE a Manufacturing Meca for the world in the renewable, sustainable clean energy sector, as well as speed the global transition needed to lead us into a carbon clean future.

The big polluters are screaming (due to not being comfortable with no longer being able to strip clean, destroy and walk away from their pollution for FREE) while our nation (and the world) goes on suffering climatic disasters. Following on big business can control by proxy what is put into the media with their advertising $$$ to ensure that many people remain completely confused and fearful of price hikes in general living standards

Perhaps, on reflection, those same people need to think a little deeper about the long term benefits of putting a price on pollution.

Taxes are collected from people (like you and I) by Political Parties.

Political parties are voted into the highly honourable position of control over those taxes paid out by those same people… you and I.
