Aboriginal Sovereignty Day Poster

The Sovereignty Day Poster authorised by the Aboriginal Tent Embassy is attached for distribution and use.

"The new poster extends an invitation to stay there at the Tent Embassy till Tuesday, February 6th, to prepare actions for the opening of Parliament 2007.
It has been stressed that drugs and alcohol not be brought onto the site and to support and respect the Aboriginal agenda."
Benny Zable

"For peaceful coexistence...
- end genocide
- stop deaths in custody
- no more uranium mining
- no nuclear waste dumps
- reparation
- black unity
- land rights
- sovereign governance
- join this peoples movement
... Plan for the opening of Parliament on Feb 6th
If you support these initiatives, come. Your support is welcome and needed."

Calling on John Howard for truth,
calling on John Howard for justice,
calling on John Howard to head the wisdom of Australian Aboriginal Elders:
- "the poison, leave it"

see you all there!

Update: Add your comments...

It is a sad thing that Rudd has continued down the nuclear trail, sad for the people he is supposed to represent, sad for the planet and very sad for humanity.
while ever nuclear power is pulled from the ground there is waste to clean up ... and no one wants it...
where do they think they can put it... why not stick it in Buckingham Palace beside the royal jewels? That's gotta pull in the tourists!

why not stick it in Canberra under the new parliament house?
why not stick it on the Harbour Bridge of Sydney.
How is NSW "Nuclear Free"????
